Event Description
Join us at Norwich's premier venue for a special one-off celebration of the quickly becoming established Norfolk Wine Region.
Gone are the days of grapes being grown as part of day-to-day agriculture in the area, we have global award winning vineyards tucked away in our much beloved county and a growing number of new plantings and vineyards.
Toby Westgarth from Norfolk Local Wine School invites you to join the launch of an exclusive new tasting event where all of the wine is from vineyards in Norfolk, tasted alongside exclusively Norfolk cheeses. Sparkling wine, fresh dry aromatic white wines, fun rosé and (now) bold red wines will be on the tasting card from multiple vineyards. Guests will be guided through how to taste wine alongside a presentation on the Norfolk Wine Region at present and its trajectory.
Overview of the event:
- Norfolk Sparkling Wine Reception in The Noverre Garden.
- Guests to take their seats at banquet style tables.
- An 'Introduction to the Norfolk Wine Region' from Norfolk Local Wine School Owner & Tutor, Toby Westgarth.
- A Guide to 'Tasting Wine' together with a Norfolk Wine.
- A Presentation on the fundamentals of 'Wine & Food Pairing'.
- A Norfolk white, rosé and red wine served alongside a Three Norfolk Cheese Platter (sourced from Norwich Market) and introduced by Cheryl Cade, VisitEngland Tourism Superstar 2026 (Shortlisted) and Norfolk Cheese Expert.
