Brilliant Beaujolais or Gorgeous Gamay - call it what you will but we just can't get enough of this fabulous wine. Join us for a very special tasting to mark Beaujolais Nouveau Day. We will of course taste this year’s recently released Nouveau alongside the very best Beaujolais Crus and Gamay from around the world.
Beaujolais Nouveau is great fun but it has overshadowed the other wines of the Beaujolais region. But the Beaujolais times they are a changing. Top quality Beaujolais from the named villages, or Crus, is increasingly recognised for its complex, terroir-driven, Burgundy alternative wines. Oh and we may also take the opportunity to seek out an example of the Gamay grape from beyond France by way of comparison.
The wines served alongside an accompanying plate of French cheese and charcuterie.
