A wine tasting event is a great way to break the ice, say thank you and make new contacts. Newcastle Wine School are the specialists in organising wine events with years of experience in hosting wine, beer or gin tastings to suit your needs.

Our popular “Call My Quaff” format, for example, works particularly well as a fun activity for groups in a corporate event. 

Two presenters each describe a wine and the group individually or in small teams have to decide who is telling the truth and accurately describing the wine that they have in their glass in front of them. A format that works well to engage people, novice and expert alike, in a fun event.

Over the course of two hours we would taste a selection of 3 white and 3 red wines. The tasting would also cover; How to taste like a professional? How to assess quality objectively? How to recognise and describe wine aromas? 

All of our tastings are informal, relaxed, run by independent qualified tutors. And as we are independent of any wine merchant Newcastle Wine School is unique in that we won’t try and sell wine to you or your guests at your event.
