Event Description
Greece has been making wine, since, well, the time of the Ancient Greeks. The country has come a long way since Alexander the Great and his contemporaries were supping with Dionysus, Greek God of wine (and ecstasy!)
If your experience of Greek wine is limited to some very basic local vino in a taverna whilst on holiday, or perhaps the pine-infused Retsina, allow us to introduce you to modern Greek wines that are unique and increasingly high quality.
Over 3 Wednesday evenings we explore the “Old World’s” Oldest wine producing country (no Retsina this time!)
Because they have such a good range, the 6 wines will be supplied directly to you by The Wine Society on our behalf and the price of the wines are included in the course cost, which is £165.00
As usual, this event will be hosted “Virtually” using Zoom, so you can enjoy from your living room, why not invite your friends? Best of all, there is no need for a designated driver.
