Event Description
White wine is made without contact with grape skin and therefore has no tannin. It is easier to enjoy without food, making it a firm favourite for al fresco drinking or simply a great way to unwind after work.
Tonight we will explore six very different styles of white wine including some classics and one or two unusual wines, selected from the following:
- Pinot Grigio (Italy)
- Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand)
- Chardonnay (France)
- Riesling (Germany)
- Albariño (Spain)
- Gruner Veltliner (Austria)
- Chenin Blanc (South Africa)
- Semillon (Australia)
- Gewurztraminer (France)
- Pinot Gris (France)
- Viura (Spain)
