The Tour De France gives us a grand excuse to use the tour to discover some French (and this year Spanish) hidden gems. After leaving Bilbao and travelling through the Basque country the riders visit; the Pyrenees, Bordeaux, Beaujolais and the mountains of Eastern France. Regions that are home to some classic as well as rare, interesting and unusual grapes and wines. We'll also enjoy a little cheese and charcuterie to nibble alongside the wines.

Newcastle Wine School will chase down 6 exceptional wines to enjoy during the 2022 Tour. Wines you can enjoy in front of the TV highlights and that reflect the iconic climbs and dramatic scenery of the Tour de France.
