Event Description
This five week course starts on Thursday 18th September ending on Thursday 23rd October (there is no class on Thursday 9th October) with the theme, “A Road Less Travelled...” an eclectic selection of wines curated to appeal to the wine curious.
The selection comprises;
Reds
- The Impressionist – a Pinot Noir from North Macedonia £13.00 and Hople Ghia – a Polish wine from the Regent grape with a ten years of bottle age £18.00
- Schreckbichl Colterenzio St. Magdalener - Schiava grape variety from Alto Adige in Northern Italy £20.00 and Terre di San Leonardo – another Northern Italian wine this time an unusual blend of Carmenere and Merlot £18.00
Whites
- Pequenos Rebentos, Vinho Verde – a refreshing Northern Portuguese wine from the Loureiro grape £20.00 and Endgrain, Tillingham, East Sussex – an unusual blend of Bacchus, Auxerrois, Siegerebbe and Schönburger partially fermented in amphorae £25.00
- Sonberk Palava – a fragrant, award winning Czech white £31.00 and Aori, Muscat of Spina – a refreshing, mineral wine from 100 year old vines on the island of Crete £31.00
Orange and Fortified
- Dom Amelie & Charles Spaa Farouche – an incredible orange wine from Alsace – £26.00 and The Liberator 'Worcester Sauce' Red Muscadel – a South African Fortified wine in a 250ml can £5.00 (two cans per order)
