Online - Re-Discovering Northern Italy

Our next online course gets underway on Thursday 15th May. We have partnered with Scottish independent wine merchants to come up with, "Re-Discovering Northern Italy - The classics and curiosities of Lombardy and Piedmont” 

We will of course taste Nebbiolo, from both Piemonte and Lombardy. Try an affordable  Pinot Noir from the Oltrepò Pavese, an important wine region just a forty minute drive south of Milan yet not often seen in the UK. Discover rare grapes including; Freisa, Grignolino and Pelaverga. And to prove that there is more to Northern Italy than just red wine we will taste a couple of whites, including the trendy Timorasso and compare two rosés from the same region using different grapes and at different price points. 

This will be our first time working with WoodWinters, a preferred partner of the Association of Wine Educators. WoodWinters first shop opened in Bridge of Allan, near Stirling in Scotland in 2005.
