Originally from a pharmaceutical background, Leah is the founder of Whispering Wine and the driving force behind Newcastle Wine Week. She holds both the WSET Diploma and French Wine Scholar (FWS) qualifications.
In the summer months, you’ll likely find her traipsing across the vineyards of Europe—sun in her eyes and a glass of wine in hand.
Leah says, “One of my most memorable wine moments wasn’t sipping fine bottles in an exclusive French Château, but laughing at the sheer absurdity of tasting and spitting 2016 Brunello di Montalcino at 7am in a Manchester hotel room ahead of my Diploma exam”
