Our wine and cheese evenings are always popular, and we like to mix things up a bit by showcasing a range of different wine and cheese styles. But we have never tried a wholeevening focussing on pairing exclusively English Wine with all English Cheeses. So, English Wine Week has given us the perfect opportunity to challenge ourselves!
We’ve already got some ideas… maybe the Comte-esque Cornish Kern paired with a buttery Chardonnay made just outside Brighton? Our very own Bacchus grape is so similar to Sauvignon Blanc that we are absolutely positive it’ll pair with goats cheese just as well. We’ve never tried English fizz with the decadently creamy Winslade, but we are just sure it’ll
be BEYOND delicious! And what about all these new English red wines which are hitting the shelves now? Some of that completely delicious Yorkshire Pecorino should do the job perfectly!
