Event Description
Do you wonder whether those more expensive wines are worth it, or are you pretty sure you can spot the supermarket bargain wine?
This is an evening for you to demonstrate your skills or perhaps discover some wines outside your usual price point.
There isn’t any plonk actually, but a range of wines at different price points, with one wine in the pair being at least twice the price of the other. Served blind, will you be able to taste the difference?
Over the evening, we will taste 3 pairs of wines, 2 red and 1 white. Each pair will be the same grape variety and country, but there will be a significant price difference.
If you’ve not been to a “blind tasting” before, don’t worry it’s very straightforward and you’ll soon pick it up. There is lots of fun to be had!
As usual, ISO tasting glasses and tasting notes (at the end this time!) will be provided along with some snacks to help the wine along.
