Our Italian tour continues as we discover Veneto, the wine production heartland of Italy with nearby regions such as Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The Corvina grape variety is the backbone behind Bardolino, Valpolicella (Ripasso) and Amarone della Valpolicella and white wine production is dominated by Soave with lesser known Lugana an increasingly intruiguing discovery.
Here a lot of Pinot Grigio is made and it is also home to Prosecco. The area around Lake Garda is extremely exciting with the lake helping to moderate the climate and produce a range of high-quality red and white wine.
This tasting is designed to explore a diverse variety of wines produced from fascinating grape varieties, most of which are only found within Italy.
