Level 1 Award in Wines is an ideal starting point for getting to grips with the basics. In a short space of time, you’ll find yourself feeling more confident tasting wine and navigating a wine list, or buying wine in shops and pairing wine with food. 

Level 2 Award in Wines is a perfect course if you want to learn about a wide range of grapes and wine styles. You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown and the styles of wine they produce. It's perfect to build on what you learn at Level 1 (but Level 1 is not a prerequisite for Level 2 - you can start at this level). 

Level 3 Award in Wines is great if you want to build on knowledge gained at Level 2 and go broader and deeper. It is designed to give you a thorough understanding of the factors accounting for style, quality and price in the principal still, sparkling and fortified wines of the world. You'll also learn to use tasting notes to make objective conclusions about a wine's quality and readiness for drinking. 

• OR consider our flagship 6-week World of Wine course if you prefer a more relaxed approach without an exam. This course builds your wine knowledge in a fun way by looking at different countries each week with the accent placed firmly on learning by tasting. Superb value at just £195.
