Grape Off Special! YWS vs Latitude Wines

Grape Off is back! And it's bigger and better than ever! Our much loved head to head format will be featuring the chaps from Latitude Wine going up again Laura to argue for their choice of country in the arena of two different grape varieties...

For our all day Saturday special we'll be picking a white grape (for the morning) and a black grape (for after lunch). One team will pick the white grape, the other team will pick the red (we'll let you know the choices a bit nearer the time). The team that hasn't picked the variety will get first pick on which country they believe best represents that grape. 

We'll then carefully select our wines to illustrate and strengthen our arguement. The battle will be fought over 3 different price points: under £12.50, £12.50-£25, £25+. We'll also apply an overal budget to the event, just to ensure nobody goes too crazy!

Once we've select our wine weapons, it's time for battle to commence. We'll introduce everyone to our two grape varieties and then set about trying to make the case that our chosen wines/country is the best. There'll be a vote at each price point, and the country with the highest number of votes accross the three rounds will win. 

Those of you who have enjoyed this format as an evening tasting will know what great fun it is. How competative the hosts get, how the tension rises as we get closer to the final vote. 

We are excited to see what grapes get selected and then what wines everyone will pick. We are most excited to share the day and our choices with you all!
