What could be more English than a Fish and Chip supper? Well, how about Fish and Chips paired with English wines!
We shall be matching up 6 wines to a classic meal of fish, chips and mushy peas served to us in the charming surroundings of the Cross Keys- a proper English pub!
We have already experienced the joys of pairing Champagne with fish and chips on our other evenings, so naturally we’ll be including a couple of English fizzes in the selection. Some people enjoy the fish and chips with a glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, so we’ll be bringing the English ‘version’ to our tasting, in the form of Bacchus. With so much
fantastic English wine out there, we think these pairings will be spot on! We’ll even include a splash of something made locally, right here in Yorkshire!
Book early to avoid disappointment as this is a one off event to coincide with the annual "English Wine Week" celebrations.
Please notify us at the time of booking if you have any specific dietry requirements and we will liaise with the restaurant to try and accommodate them. Vegan option is available. We cannot guarantee to be able to change the menu on the evening of the event.
