Event Description
Celebrate Malbec Day with a special afternoon of wine, food and discovery!
Join us for a relaxed and delicious tasting featuring six carefully selected wines, exploring Malbec from its modern home in Argentina alongside at least one classic example from Cahors in southwest France, where the grape has a long and fascinating history.
Discover how the same grape can produce remarkably different wines depending on where it is grown. We'll explore the bold, rich and fruit-driven style of Argentine Malbec, while comparing it with the deeper, more structured and traditional character often found in Cahors.
And, of course, no Argentine wine experience would be complete without food. The wines will be accompanied by a superb Côte de Boeuf (one between two guests) with a range of suitable accompaniments.
Expect six great wines, delicious food and plenty of fascinating insights into Malbec, from its French roots to its modern-day fame in Argentina.
Whether you're a devoted Malbec fan or simply love fine food and wine, this is the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Join us on Saturday 17 April 2027 and discover the many faces of this fascinating grape!
