Event Description
The South of France is a hugely undervalued and varied region. Most people know (and love) Provence Rosé and Picpoul de Pinet, but how about Collioure, Corbières and Limoux?
It is an area that boasts many grape varieties and styles. There is the classic combination of Syrah and Grenache plus familiaritiessuch as Mourvèdre, Carignan and the exciting wines from Cinsault. 'International' varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and, even occasionally, Pinot Noir are also popular. But there are also local, relatively unknown, grape varieties.
It’s a region full of variety and we will look out for old favourites as well as some new discoveries.
