Event Description
Join Carrie and explore the diverse regions that sit along the banks of France’s longest river, the Loire.
The Loire Valley has been making wines for over 2000 years. Discover those from the Atlantic Coast to the well known wines of the Central Vineyards. The lineup will be revealed nearer the time, but will include some of the following:
- Muscadet
- Reds from Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir & Malbec
- Chenin Blanc of all styles
- Sparkling wine
- Sauvignon Blanc from the infamous Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé
- Something sweet to finish
All tastings include: minimum of 6 wines sourced locally so you can find them easily if you like them, full tasting notes, tasting sheet, and use of professional tastings glasses.
