Event Description
Summer is the best time for Rose wine. As the sun comes out we really get in the mood for everything from the pale roses of Provence, Rose Champagne and spicy savoury roses that match summer salads.
We'll be celebrating all of these as well as learning how Rose is made-hint, in most parts of the world, this is not done by blending red and white wine. We'll chat through the process of making Rose Champagne-as well as tasting one.
The line up will be revealed a little nearer the time but will include a selection of the following styles:
- Classic Pale Rosé
- Rosé Champagne
- Oak fermented Rosé
- Aged Rosé
- An unexpected wine making country
- Something with a little sweetness
- A wine that will question what defines Rosé & Red
Our tastings include: a minimum of 6 wines sourced locally so you can find them easily if you like them, full tasting notes, tasting sheet, and use of professional tastings glasses.
