Course Description
Do you have favourite wines you almost always choose? Do you prefer French or New World wines (Australia, South Africa, America)?
Join our fun-filled 3-part BLIND tasting course exploring French wines made from famous grapes and comparing them with New World examples. Discover new favourites.
No previous experience is necessary - the emphasis is on learning by tasting.
Each evening is conducted in a light-hearted and fun way, finishing with a vote to see if we preferred the French or the New World versions. You may be surprised!
The aim is to teach you to tell the difference by smell and taste alone! Imagine how much easier that'll make the next time you have to choose from a wine list.
This course runs for one evening each week and it is flexible - if you need to skip a night, just let us know in advance and you'll be able to pick up a repeat session.
We have priced the course to give an overall saving against booking the nights separately.
What will I get from this course?
- Taste 18 wines from a variety of countries
- Learn the main regions of France and their wines
- Learn how to taste wine like a professional
- Practice our system for discerning the climate difference
- Discover new places where your favourite grape variety makes great wine
What if I can’t make one of the evenings?
Not a problem. You can either send a substitute or give us some notice and we'll credit you so you can pick up a repeat.
