Last year saw one of the largest UK grape harvests on record (we'll probably get nearly 16 million bottles from it) and quality was superb.
2026 is looking equally great.
Our chalk soils in Southeast England are geologically linked to those of Champagne, and many English sparkling wines are made using the same method.
Elizabeth Rose Wines is an English wine specialist retailer run by Victoria Bubb and based in Cottenham. She herself is a rising star on the wine scene, having worked in London as Events Manager for Berry Brothers and Rudd.
