This evening we will taste and compare the classic wine regions such as France, Spain, Germany, and Italy with wines from Chile, New Zealand, Australia, USA and Argentina, tasting several pairs of wines, made from the same grape variety, but different countries.
Six to eight wines will be featured, from three/four different grape varieties, such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah/Shiraz, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. It is only when you taste these wines together that the differences really stand out, and the comparisons can bring some amazing insights into wine styles.
We taste them all blind, so you can forget above any prejudices! Just enjoy the wines and have a bit of fun trying to guess which is which.
