Bordeaux & Burgundy Reds

Think of the two best wine regions in the world. No not those two! OK let me suggest my favourite two – Burgundy and Bordeaux. The reason I got interested in wine, was because I fell in love with red wine from Bordeaux, and I have (until very recently) being faithful, a 30+ year relationship, but in the last couple of years my head has been turned, and I have been flirting with Burgundy reds – and I’m conflicted, so I need your help. Tonight we will taste some at least 3 reds from Burgundy and at least 3 reds from Bordeaux – side by side – and you along with me, will compare and come to the definitive judgement – which are better! If only it were that simple.

But what I can promise you is a fantastic evening tasting brilliant Bordeaux and Burgundy red wine, with some cheese and meats to complement the wines.
