Event Description
The Northern Rhône is one of France's most prestigious wine regions, home to Hermitage and Cornas, but it is also one of the most rugged and out-of-the-way places in France, and given the high demand for wines from this area many of the best bottles never leave the region, let alone the country.
That's why YWS's own intrepid explorer Laura went there herself to pick up some incredible wines which you normally wouldn't get to see. Now, we present the best that she found in an extended 3-hour afternoon tasting of 8-9 wines which explore the very best of Hermitage, Cornas, St. Peray and the Ardeche.
What are we presenting in this session? Well, how about an incredibly rare single-vineyard St. Peray, a Cornas and an aged Hermitage? We'll keep the rest of the line-up a surprise, but rest assured this is a rare chance to taste the wines of this region at their most fascinating, intense and best!
