Event Description
A super scrummy evening for all you lovers of great food and wine! We have teamed together with pals at the Friends of Ham to devise a menu of seasonal small plates paired with 8 sumptuous Sherries. The perfect way to celebrate International Sherry Week!
We are excited to bring back our Sherry Dinner for 2025 as Laura is planning to travel to Jerez to study to become an accredited Sherry Educator in September. As ever, she'll been keen to share her newly honed knowledge and passion for this unique wine. This is always a popular event, but 2025 might be our best version yet!
We are waiting for the menu to be confirmed (we'll post it here and on social media once it is ready to go), but the plan is to enjoy several rounds of small plates with the focus mainly (but not exclusively) on traditional Spanish flavours. Each round of food will be accompanied by a selection of 2-3 Sherries (so we'll be tasting 8 Sherries altogether); we'll kick off with the classic biological (Fino/Manzanilla) styles, then move on to the oxidative aged styles (Amontillado/Oloroso etc.), lastly we'll have some decadent sweet styles!
A quick word about the menu- let us know at the time of booking if you have dietry requirements. The Kitchen Team at Fram are pretty switched on about GF options etc. but with such a small prep area it's not always possible to cater for people with severe allergies. We aren't able to make substitutions/switch out specific dishes but we have a veggie option for each course. So, veggies- you are all good to sign up, just be sure and let us know when you book!
Sadly, we aren't able to offer this as a vegan menu.
