About the venue
A legendary Leeds pub, reborn.
Originally ‘The Victoria Family & Commercial Hotel’, it was built to accommodate people attending the nearby courts and Town Hall.
The building became one of the city’s most loved pubs, known to locals as ‘The Vic’. Careful restoration and refurbishment has revived the pub’s interior and uncovered original features that have been painstakingly brought back to life. In December 2025, The Victoria & Commercial was reopened to the public 160 years after it first opened, restored to its former glory by Kirkstall Brewery and Whitelock’s.
