Malbec is our nation's darling grape variety as it's just so drinkable! Many think that it originated in Argentina but actually it was grown in France long before it made its way there. It is one of the few varieties to be allowed in Bordeaux blends, it's grown in the Loire valley where it's called Côt and has it's own appellation in South West France called Cahors. It is, however, grown worldwide and can even be made into a white wine! Come and join us to taste through Malbec's various guises and discover why it is just so darn popular!
