Event Description
We're delighted to welcome Rhône Valley wine expert Linda Field for a fascinating evening tasting exploring the wines of one of France's most enduring and endearing wine regions.
The evening will cover an overview of the different appellations of the Rhône Valley, from the famous Northern Rhône 'Crus' to the Luberon Valley in the South with an explanation of the different styles of wine produced.
During the evening, you'll get the chance to compare some of the region's most exciting styles of wine including complex reds and older whites, while learning about how climate, soil, viticulture and winemaking contribute to the multifaceted styles produced in this region. From north to south, regional to cru, this line-up shows the true diversity of the Rhône Valley. Linda will share her thoughts on current winemaking practices, marketing and tourism and bring you right up to date with this dynamic and exciting wine region.
You will taste seven different wines, from leading producers, including several different top wines from the Côtes du Rhône which offer incredible quality and value. The tasting also includes a flight of white wines, which are increasingly turning the heads of wine experts and consumers alike.
