The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines is the ideal qualification for beginners or those with some wine knowledge wishing to learn about a wide range of wines. It builds upon the introductory knowledge gained with the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines, but it is not necessary to have passed Level 1 in order to enrol on this course.
Over 3 Saturdays, through a combination of theory and tasting 40 wines, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence. You will learn to understand common labelling terms and know the production methods used for many different types and styles of wine.
Upon successful completion of the exam, you will receive an official WSET digital certificate.
