Event Description
Our latest Pro course is a welcome opportunity to take a deep dive into the delicious world of Champagne. Certified by the Comité Champagne, our extensive course features e-learning modules to prepare you ahead of time. Then join us for an interactive classroom-based course with plenty of learning and tasting along the way.
Our course is set over a weekend, with back-to-back days of learning. You’ll then have a week to spend revising and preparing yourself for the exam which 30 MCQs, 2 short written answer questions and a tasting exam describing and recommending 2 different Champagne.
*Before the course you’ll need to put in at least 7 hours of preparatory study, including completing two e-learning modules and familiarising yourself with the course handbook. A further 14-16 hours of study in class will see your expertise in Champagne soar to new levels!

Sunday 31st January 2027
Session 3 Champenois Method
Workshop: The Cellar Master
Session 4 Recommending, serving & storage
Workshop: The Wine Merchant
We will taste 3 Champagne in each session, showcasing a broad range of styles, size of producer and price points.

Exam 1 hr 45 mins for theory and tasting
Who is the Course for? This programme has been designed by the Comité Champagne to prepare people who work with Champagne in a professional environment, it is ideal for those in the retail, sales and hospitality sectors. It will also further the knowledge of enthusiasts who have already learned about Champagne at e.g. WSET Level 3, French Wine Scholar etc.
*NOTE: only holders of Comité Champagne Levels 1 and 2 are eligible to sit this course. You'll be sent instructions on how to complete these e-modules in your own time ahead of starting our course. It is estimated that you'll need 5-7 hours to complete these e-modules. Please make sure you enrol on this course with enough time to complete the pre-course compulsory study before our first day.
