This globally recognized certification is designed for wine professionals and serious enthusiasts ready to deepen their knowledge of Valpolicella’s terroirs, grapes, and unique winemaking traditions.

What You'll Learn:

• The diverse terroirs and subzones of Valpolicella

• Indigenous grape varieties and their characteristics

• Appassimento technique and its impact on wine styles

• Detailed production methods for Recioto, Amarone, Ripasso, and Classico wines

Course Format:

• 4-hour in-person session led by a certified VEP educator

• Tasting of 15 Valpolicella wines, including all major styles

• Multiple-choice theory exam + blind tasting of 2 wines

Certification:
Successful candidates receive the Valpolicella Scholar qualification, officially recognized by the Consorzio Valpolicella.
