Event Description
Come and meet Albino Rocca, a four generation family winery whose roots run deep into the hills of Barbaresco. Monica Rocca will lead the tasting tonight through 7 extraordinary wines.
The story began in the 1940s, when great-grandfather Giacomo started selling grapes from the family vineyards. In the 1960s, his son Albino inherited some of the family's most precious parcels and began building what is now the Albino Rocca estate. Today, the fourth generation is at the helm - with the fifth generation already on the horizon.
The estate comprises of almost 20 hectares spread across the four municipalities of the Barbaresco DOCG, including Barbaresco itself, Neive, Treiso and San Rocco Seno d'Elvio.
Nebbiolo is at the heart of everything, alongside Barbera, Docetto, Cortese, Chardonnay and Moscato.
This is a story about more than family tradition. It's about quality, place and evolution - understanding the vineyards, respecting the land and allowing Nebbiolo to express the elegrance and character of Barbaresco.
Join us at West London Wine School for a tasting with Monica Rocca and discover what four generations of passion can taste like.
