This week we leave the mainland for a while and travel out to the island territories of Spain. We head over to the Balearic Islands with its 2500 year history of making wine with its mixture of little-known native grapes as well as famous international varietes. Then we sail around the peninsular and out to the Islas Canarias (Canary Islands) where the volcanic soil produces some fascinating wines.
We conclude the evening with dive into the world of Sherry and the wines of Andalucia. Learn what makes Sherry some the most interesting and engaging of wines including understanding how it's made and the different styles. Sherry is so much more than a Christmas tipple at your Grandparents house. Find out exactly why!
