Saturday Introduction to Wines from the Americas with Lunch

Join us for a relaxed, enjoyable day exploring the wines of the Americas — from the bold reds of Argentina and Chile to the elegant styles of California and beyond. This course offers a fascinating introduction to the regions, grapes, and flavours that make this part of the world so exciting for wine lovers.

We’ll begin with a sparkling wine reception, before moving on to a guided tasting of 10 fantastic wines. Along the way, you’ll learn to taste like a professional and explore topics such as:

• How wine is made

• The key winemaking regions of the Americas

• Major red and white grape varieties

• How climate and winemaking influence flavour and style

• Tips for reading and understanding wine labels

• Simple, practical food and wine matching advice

Halfway through the day, we’ll take a break to enjoy a delicious three-course lunch, before continuing our tasting journey across the Americas in the afternoon.

No tasting experience is necessary — all levels of knowledge are welcome at our events.

The menu will be shared closer to the date, and we’ll ask you to confirm your selections no later than one week prior to the event.
