Event Description
Join us for a relaxed, enjoyable day exploring wines from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and the Americas. This course offers a fascinating introduction to the styles, regions, and grape varieties that have helped put the New World firmly on the global wine map.
We’ll begin with a glass of sparkling wine, before moving on to a guided tasting of 10 fantastic wines. Along the way, you’ll learn how to taste like a professional and discover:
-
How wine is made
-
The key winemaking regions of the New World
-
Major red and white grape varieties
-
How climate and winemaking shape flavour and style
-
Tips for reading and understanding wine labels
-
Simple, practical food and wine matching advice
Midway through the day, we’ll take a break to enjoy a delicious three-course lunch, before continuing our tasting journey across the New World in the afternoon.
