ONLINE TASTING: Jimmy's Best of South Africa - White Wines

PLEASE NOTE: If you book after 12pm on Wednesday 10th May, tasting kits are not guaranteed to arrive in time for the live event. They will be posted out as soon as possible. Wine school founder Jimmy Smith is a huge South African wine fanatic and happily travels out to the winelands in the Western Cape most years to immerse himself in the culture of this oldest new world wine country. In this tasting Jimmy has hand-selected his favourite white wines from his most recent trip in September 2022 where he attended the huge and impressive Cape Wine Fair.

The focus will be on delightful Chenin Blanc and complex Chardonnay with a curve ball or two thrown in for good measure with the likes of Roussanne, Verdelho, Riesling and Viognier. Expect a night of fun and indulgence! Those of you have attended these special South African nights in the past know what you are in for!

For this special two-hour tasting, an exclusive tasting kit is included in the listed price which includes a 50ml tasting sample of each wine. Note: Tasting kits will be despatched to attendees within the week leading up to the tasting. 

Tasting kit delivery can be made to anywhere within the UK only. At present we are unable to fullfill international orders.

TASTING FORMAT:

Jimmy Smith will host this exclusive tasting live at 7:30pm on Tuesday 16th May 2023. This single-evening tasting will be approximately 1.5 - 2 hours in length. 

Unable to commit on the evening? No problem! Anyone registered for this tasting will gain access to the video recording of the live event, so you can always revisit any of these at anytime in the future - whether its because you missed participating in the live evening or if you want to revisit the presentation at a later date.
