Brunello di Montalcino Walk-Around Tasting

Join Jimmy Smith for a really exceptional Brunello di Montalcino DOCG walk-around tasting. Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is one of the truly great iconic red wines of Italy. This self-pour, walkaround tasting format allows you to explore a selection of exceptional Brunello wines at your own pace while having access to Jimmy and other tutors who can provide further insight about the fantastic wines on show. 

Jimmy has hand selected a number of the recent 2020 vintage, as well as older vintages so you discover how this structured and complex wine can age in bottle. Brunello di Montalcino is a featured wine in the WSET curriculum, particularly at the Level 3 Award in Wines and the Diploma. It is covered as a key example of a Tuscan DOCG wine, with its grape growing, winemaking, and regional characteristics included in the syllabus for both study and exams, so this is also a great opportunity for students to get really familiar with this particular style of wine and its notable characteristics. 

Guests are encouraged to arrive anytime between 18:30 - 19:30 (tasting concludes at 20:30).
