Private Wine Tasting Events in person
Private wine tasting events can be hosted in a hired venue, at a location of your choice, or even your own home - we can also recommend local venues to suit any party size or budget. We can also organise, if required, venues that include dinner cooked by top local chefs.
Typically we sample at least 6 different quality wines and compare them side by side and you can also include Champagne as an option. We always offer a rapid introductory session on how to taste wine – explained in a no-nonsense practical way
Every event begins with an introduction to wine tasting to break the ice, helping everyone to relax and feel able to participate. We always keep the emphasis on having fun - if you learn a bit more about wine in the process, then that's an added bonus! You will definitely acquire new wine- tasting skills and perhaps try something you never thought that you would like at the same time!
You can choose from a number of our most popular options including
- Blind Wine Bluff – Our most popular format where you have to guess which wine is which? Not as difficult as it sounds, under expert tuition you will learn lots and most importantly it’s great fun.
- Classic Wine Tasting – A straightforward wine tasting session, can be tailored to whatever your interests are, or leave it to us to select some lovely wine.
- Champagne/Sparkling Wine Tasting – If bubbles are your thing, then we can organise a great fizz tasting showcasing some great sparkling wines.
- Cheese & Wine Pairing – Six lovely wine and cheese pairings.
- Fine/Rare Wine Tasting – Whatever your interest we can put together something truly special for you.
- Gin Tasting - 6 premium gins, accompanied by tonic and garnishes.
Our wine tastings are entertaining and good fun, pitched at a level that ensures everyone will learn something new about wine and, most importantly, have a great time doing so.
