Event Description
The wines of Australia are becoming more diverse, as producers embrace a wider range of grape varieties and explore new winemaking approaches. At the same time, they also continue to excel at the classics, such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, which built the popularity of the Australian wine industry with bold, fruit-forward flavours.
We'll explore the different Australian wine regions, from the oldest to the youngest, and taste a range of styles and grape varieties.
We'll also take in New Zealand, home to ever popular Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and some amazing Pinot Noir, as well as impressive Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and aromatic Riesling.
We'll taste at least 6 wines, including a delicious sparkling wine and one of the wines served at former New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern's recent wedding. Don't miss it!
This event is also part of our 4 Week Tour of the New World.
