Event Description
This tasting will be 8 wines. Including the signature blended red wines from the Côtes, the Left Bank of the River Gironde and the Right Bank - maybe better known as Medoc and St Emilion. We’ve discovered and wanted to share a delicious a rosé wine from Bordeaux too.
Plus of course the most famous dessert wine in the World, Sauternes. But we don’t want to forget some of the wines, so very close to Bordeaux but not quite – so can’t use the name. Malbec is the grape, best known from Argentina, but did you know it’s originally from Cahors. The Tannat grape from Madiran, not very well known in France, but loved in Uruguay. Monbazillac, in our opinion a great dessert wine, we often show this on our WSET courses too.
