Event Description
Beaujolais Nouveau had it's hey-day in the 1980s and the fight to get your hands on a bottle of the latest vintage was quite something!
However, the newest vintage isn't for everyone - young, racy acidity and mouth-tingling red fruit flavours.
To mark Beaujolais Nouveau Day - the 20th Nov - we thought we'd take the opportunity to shine the spot light on the more complex, structured and deep wines of 6 of the 10 'crus', or villages. From the light wines of Fleurie and Saint-Amour to the deeper, bolder styles from Moulin a Vent & Morgon, we'll reconnect the the joy of Gamay in all it's colours!
These wines will be served with a traditionally-made Beef Bourguignon (or vegetarian option, please advise on booking) to make a wonderful celebration of these wines and enhance your enjoyment!
