Event Description
Join us for a delicious journey down the Rhône Valley, from the dramatic, steep vineyards of Côte-Rôtie and Hermitage in the north to the sun-soaked Luberon in the south – with plenty of great wine along the way!
Our special guest for the evening is Linda Field, a Certified WSET Educator who swapped the UK for life in the Rhône Valley, where she now runs her wine school, Auberge du Vin. Who better to give us the inside story on one of France’s most exciting wine regions?
We’ll taste at least six wines, exploring the different grapes, styles and appellations that make the Rhône so wonderfully varied. Expect some cracking reds, including top Côtes du Rhône wines that prove you don’t always need a grand appellation – or a grand budget – to find serious quality.
And this isn’t just a tour of the classics. Linda will bring us right up to date with what’s happening in the Rhône today, from changing winemaking practices and new trends to wine tourism and how the region is evolving.
Great wines, expert insight and a taste of southern France – without having to get on a plane!
