I'm so excited to continue the great work of South London Wine School, and to add more tasting experiences for you to enjoy.
I fell in love with wine while I was helping a friend paint the inside of an old farmhouse that would be let out out as a holiday home. It's in Fronsac, near St-Emilion, and surrounded by vineyards. We'd go to a local supermarché, buy wines of different quality and price - a couple from each shelf - and taste them blind... and the top shelf didn't always win!
I started studying wine a while ago with Level 2 WSET, but it was during the Diploma that I really got the wine bug and moved into the industry, getting valuable experience working in a boutique French wine shop and as a 'runner' at the Decanter World Wine awards.
My favourite regions that I've been to are Bordeaux (especially Right Bank), Central Otago, the Finger Lakes and most recently the Northern Rhone. I love good wine, but I also love finding great value wine.
