Course Description
Did you know that nearly half of all the wine produced worldwide comes from just 10 grape varieties? Yet there are around 4,000 grapes used to make wine.
This three-part A–Z series celebrates 30 fascinating grape varieties from around the world, from Areni Noir to Vranec. Many are rarely seen outside their home regions, yet they produce distinctive, characterful wines that deserve to be discovered.
Each evening explores a different section of the alphabet (A–F, G–N and P–V), with six carefully selected wines showcasing some of the grapes featured. Expect a mix of white, red and the occasional rosé, orange or sparkling wine, as you broaden your wine knowledge and discover delicious alternatives to the usual Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot.
Also bookable as individual evenings.
