Kelly Bishop

Kelly has been a food and drink writer for five years. It was through writing about food and restaurants that she really got bitten by the wine bug.

She began as a student at Manchester Wine School studying up to WSET Level 3, and also holds the French Wine Scholar certificate from the Wine Scholar Guild.

Kelly writes for Manchester’s Finest, VICE and also has her own food and wine blogs on Substack.

She travels as much as possible and always bases her trips around food or wine or both, writing about it as she goes.

When she’s not eating, drinking or writing, she plays bass and sings in indie punk band The Empty Page and serves as an unpaid servant to two demanding house cats.
