Event Description

Come and spend a wonderful afternoon with us in the beautiful surroundings of Hotel Du Vin in the Regency splendour of Cheltenham.
You will be greeted with a glass of Champagne upon arrival before embarking on a journey around the world of wine.
You will taste a wide variety of wines from different grapes and different parts of the world and learn to taste them like a professional!
We will break for a delicious lunch, prepred by the Hotel Du Vin chefs, before sampling more great wines in the afternoon.
We are not, unlike some companies, trying to sell you the wine that we sample so there is no sales pitch. We will of course advise you as to where you can purchase each wine if you discover one that you love.

Find a new favouite wine and learn a little more about how these wines are created. The perfect way to spend a Saturday!

We will focus on white and Rose before lunch and red wine in the afternoon.

Itinerary for the day

We start at 11am with Champagne, followed by five further white wines.
Lunch is at 1pm. We send an email 5 days before the event to advise on lunch options.
The afternoon is a range of red wines. We select a wide range of different styles of wine, normally in the £8 to £30 price range - the wines differ for each event.
We provide proper wine tasting measures (unlike some other companies) and while we do bring spittoons, most people prefer to drink the wines, so please plan not to drive afterwards!
We can cater to different dietary requirements for food, such as vegan and vegetarian alternatives, however we cannot guarantee that all of the wines shown will be vegan/vegetarian.
