4 WEEK WINE COURSE - OLD WORLD
The Old World Wines Course evening will focus on the key Wine Regions of the Old World. You will taste and discuss 6 carefully selected wines each week aiming to demonstrate a benchmark of style or appellation.
You will tour the classic Wine Regions of France, Spain, Italy and Portugal usually comparing wines from neighbouring regions that share a similar climates or use the same grape varieties.
Example of topics covered for each region and country:
Grape varieties & Important appellations
Climate
Wine making trends and important producers
Terroir and specific nuances as well as what makes that region unique
This course runs for 4 Wednesdays in Feb/March, beginning on February 2nd, 2022 with a break on 16th February.
