World of Wine Course

Welcome to the World of Wine course running over 6 consecutive weekday evenings. No previous wine tasting experience is necessary and the emphasis is upon learning by tasting lots of different wines.

You'll be in the same group of like minded wine enthusiasts for the whole course as we will not be selling the evenings as individual tastings.

What if I can’t make one of the evenings?

Not a problem. You can either send a substitute or request a credit voucher that you can use to book another wine tasting.

 Course Programme and Dates:

Sessions run on 6 consecutive Wednesday evenings. You taste 6 wines at each tasting. They start at 7pm and last for approximately 2 hours, ending at around 9pm

Week 4: 26th Nov 2025 - Australia and New Zealand + New world wines, Climate, Grapes and wine regions, Vine training, How to read the label
Week 5: 3rd Dec 2025 - Chile and Argentina + Climate, Altitude, Grapes and wine regions, Serving and decanting, How to read the label
Week 6: 10th Dec 2025 - South Africa and USA + Climate, Old vines, Grapes and wine regions, Storing and ageing wine, How to read the label
