The Loire Valley is home to some iconic white wines from the communes of Sancerre, Pouilly Fume and Vouvray.
We will explore the key white grape varieties from Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Melon De Bourgogne. We will also delve into some of the red wines that may be less well widely known such as Cabernet Franc from areas such as Chinon.
The Loire also has a great climate for Sparkling Wines made in the traiditional method.
You will feel more informed around what to look for on a Loire Valley wine label and the AOC's associated with the various Loire grape varieties.
