Event Description
A native grape of the Rhine region, Riesling is a regal variety that produces wines unlike any other. They’re refreshingly fruity and terroir expressive that have a wonderful natural acidity, even when grown in the hottest of climates. Whilst generally light in alcohol, most are capable of long-term ageing leading to a unique flavour development.
Thankfully, Riesling is now miles away from the boring, sweet table wines of a bygone era. This re-emergence to the top of international tastings is shown by the numerous accolades ascribed to the resulting wines.
Surely there is no better way to welcome in the summer months (and supporting foods) than by learning about this grape variety and exploring how the resulting wines differ due to the many climates around the world in which it is grown? Join us for an evening to explore this unique regal super star.
